When all you actually need him for is an extra gun (if he even uses it, which is never) at the front door? Why have Hemmingboone with a 'Stalk' ability that drains his Morale per second, where he wanders around the base invisible with his gun out, when he doesnt even target tagged Agents (like Agent X or Symmetry and their squad) if he runs into them? He just continues stalking away without doing anything. I just go for Jubei, IRIS, Fuku-wara (weird how it censors her name), Pyro, Magnolia, Doomhilda, Jackie and Espectro. Which, in a larger part, also means approximately 70% of the Henchmen are useless with their 'Remove Suspicion' or 'Distract Agent' abilities. This fits with the whole 'Tower Defence' mechanic design of EG2. Leave Vitality to the Science minions in the Medbay. Maybe it'd be better if Deception minions could be used around the Base to improve the Stat recovery of Smarts and Morale at various items. The only reason, the ONLY reason I have ANY Deception minions is to run some World-Stage missions. I support the incinerators due to the increased number of minions / agents on the map at any given time, but the entire Casino / Distraction / Heat system is redundant, even on Hard difficulty. But at least 2 provides us with the opportunity to ignore it entirely. I hated the Casino in EG1 and hate it in 2. Plus the sound of the Stagefloor or Slot Machines is enough to do your head in.īetter to vaporize them in a long corridor of traps leading to a stacked Armory with 10 tables and every Guard you've got, followed by an Incinerator in a closet. Or you simply bum-rush them with all of your Henchmen and IRIS who summons all the Guards. They also dodge / disable 99% of traps in their path leaving you no option than to brute-force them once the rest of their squad has died in your trap corridor. Super Agents walk right through and ignore EVERY single Casino attraction. Huge amounts of manpower and either provides a pitiful amount of money from scamming Tourists or fails at distracting Agents even with every furniture item, fully manned. The Casino takes an enormous amount of power. You then incinerate the bodies and nobody is any the wiser. Fill it with 50+ Guards / Mercs and annihilate anybody who walks in. Or you can just delete the Casino entirely. You tend to need quite a few in there to successfully distract the agents of justice, so I've found building barracks, staff rooms and cafeterias off of the casino really improves their effectiveness! The long casino maze is also a staple of many casino layouts - the money hungry tyrants! Getting the recharging items near to the casino will increase the number of deception minions manning it.
